The Farm in Oak Cliff continues the tradition of five generations of farming and gardening. Our mission is to provide access to fresh produce primarily to the residents of 75216 and the DFW area.

Gardening has been a peaceful activity for me since 2020 when my mother bought me my first houseplant. I took pride in caring for that plant and gradually grew my collection to 8 varieties of indoor plants.

In 2022, I began to grow food in an outdoor garden. I started out with a small variety of fruits and vegetables in a small 10x8 foot space. Once my parents saw how successful my garden was, they encouraged me to grow more, providing resources, planters, soil, plants, and eventually land to further my agricultural skills.

When I started gardening, I only shared my harvests with my family, neighbors, and friends. Now, I aspire to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to the community.
